A flexible room for workshops, meetings and making.

Tucked off the main gallery, The Creative Space is a light-filled room available for hire by tutors, community groups, artists and local organisations.

About the space.

The Creative Space is our dedicated workshop and events room, furnished with trestle tables and seating for up to around 25 people. It has natural light from two large windows, reverse-cycle heating and cooling, and direct access to the station platform for breaks.

We’ve hosted life drawing, watercolour classes, kids’ holiday workshops, yoga, writing groups, community meetings, small exhibitions and one-off pop-up events. If you’re unsure whether your activity suits the space, just ask.

Features

No bond. Room available 8am–10pm, 7 days a week.

Standard
$10/hr

Flat rate for commercial workshops and events charging admission.

Community / NFP
$10 first hr

$5/hr after, for non-fee community meetings & events.
